Enduring the Process

As some may know, I’m currently working on one of the biggest projects I’ve done since high school. Being the muse, the story & the platform behind my own art, can come with difficulties. Reliving moments in my life that I personally have yet to heal from. Some pieces so emotionally raw I have to take breaks. I enjoy the process & its ability to allow me to heal through my art. Real tears and hard work being poured into my paintings isn’t easy.

Frida Kahlo is a real huge inspiration in this body of work which you will soon see. More for her way of story telling and surrealism. Other artist have inspired me throughout the years but re-learning her story & studying her work has sparked a new creative flow. I enjoy how each piece is a milestone throughout her life whether it be about her accident or a self portrait documenting periods of her life. I plan to execute her story telling abilities in my own work.

I really can’t wait to sit down and talk more about my project as time permits. However, I don’t want to share ALL my work and behind the scenes before the show. I’m looking into patreon for my supports who really love in depth behind the scenes relaxed content & I might throw in a monthly print. I’ll of course let you guys know more once it’s launched.

Until next time 🐦‍⬛.
